Leslinc Hospitality Services cc (LHS) LHS is a registered close corporation and has been in existence since 2004. LHS main activity is hospitality, tourism and management consulting and is managed by David (part time) and Nicola Leslie with over 35 years of combined experience in this sector. LHS has previously managed corporate contract catering sites such as WIPCAPITAL and has decided to divest of this type business activity and focus more on the consulting business. The main aim is to assist start-up hospitality (hotel, motel, guest-houses, bed&breakfasts and restaurants) establishments with proper implementation of processes and control procedures. This is a niche market and this service is fairly new territory. LHS is also in the business of sourcing and selling value added hospitality related products, such as umbrella and heater stands, with more products being added continuously. Leslinc Financial Services cc (LFS) LFS is a registered close corporation and has been in existence since 2002. From humble beginnings LFS has grown into a reputable company offering various services from tax related services such as VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL, regional levies, etc to a full book-keeping / accounting service to balance sheet to small and medium enterprises. Of late LFS has entered into the outsourcing field, whereby companies outsource the entire accounting / bookkeeping function to LFS. This involves LFS placing an employee at the premises of the client, but the management of the resource and process is overseen by LFS. To promote a one stop service LFS has entered into a strategic alliance with a firm of Auditors and a Company Secretary to sign off companies (Pty's) and Close Corporations (CC's) respectively. LFS is jointly owned by Nicola Jane Leslie and David Leslie, with a 30% and 70% shareholding split respectively. This company is BEE compliant with a 70% empowerment shareholding. The day to day activities are managed by Nicola who has extensive experience in book-keeping, financial accounting and general management and holds a Diploma in Advanced Financial Accounting. Her total experience spans over twenty years and she has worked for large corporates such as Sun International. (See Financial Services page for more details on value added services and products offered) David is involved in providing the overall strategic direction of the company and is involved with consulting on an ad hoc basis with activities that include but is not limited to, strategic planning and execution, business planning and general business and financial consulting. On more labour intensive and specialised consulting LFS has allianced with KIRCO international who specialises in strategy and financial consulting. David has over twenty years experience in general management with a bias towards hospitality and tourism. David holds an MBA and is currently studying towards a PhD in Strategic Tourism.
